VSB Welcomes Five New Faculty Members

²ÝÁñÉçÇø, Pa., August 25, 2025 – The ²ÝÁñÉçÇø School of Business (VSB) is pleased to announce the addition of five new faculty members to its team this academic year.

"VSB is honored to have such outstanding faculty and we are all excited to welcome these new members to our team," said Wen Mao, PhD, the Helen and William O’Toole Dean of VSB. "Their deep expertise and experience will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of business leaders."

The new faculty members are:

Spencer Andrews, PhD

Spencer Andrews, PhD

Spencer Andrews, PhD, joins the Finance & Real Estate department at the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø School of Business as an assistant professor. Dr. Andrews earned his PhD in Finance and Master of Science in Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, after graduating magna cum laude with an Honors BS in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Delaware. He began his career as a corporate analyst at JPMorgan Chase and most recently served as a research economist at the Office of Financial Research within the U.S. Department of the Treasury. His research interests include empirical asset pricing and investments, including short selling, hedge funds, mutual funds, and exchange-traded funds. His work has been published in the Journal of Financial Economics, among others. 

Jeanna Kenney, PhD

Jeanna Kenney, PhD

Jeanna Kenney, PhD, joins VSB’s Economics department an assistant professor. She received a BA in Economics with a concentration in Mathematical Economics from Haverford College. She later earned her PhD in Economics from the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kenney recently worked as assistant professor of Economics and Real Estate at the University of Alabama. Her research focuses on real estate economics, including household mobility, market concentration, and home appraisal, and her work has been published in Real Estate Economics, among others. 

Cory Ng, DBA

Cory Ng, DBA

Cory Ng, DBA, joins VSB’s faculty as an associate teaching professor in the Accounting & Information Systems department. Dr. Ng is a Georgia Institute of Technology graduate, earning a BS in Economics. He later received a Master of Science in Accounting from Drexel University and a Doctor of Business Administration from Wilmington University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. Recently, he worked as CFO and vice president of administration at the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA) and taught at both Temple University and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His teaching and research interests include the use of AI in accounting, and he co-authored a book titled Artificial Intelligence in Accounting: Practical Applications by Routledge.

Gayoung Park, PhD

Gayoung Park, PhD

Gayoung Park, PhD, joins the Marketing & Business Law department as an assistant professor. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science in Marketing from Sogang University in South Korea. Dr. Park recently earned her PhD in Marketing at Virginia Tech where she taught Introduction to Digital Marketing Strategy and Product Price and management. She researches consumer well-being, technology adoption, financial decision-making, and the effects of framing.

Siyu Wang, PhD

Siyu Wang, PhD

Dr. Siyu Wang joins the Economics department as an associate professor.  Dr. Wang graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a BS in Finance before earning her Master degree and PhD in Economics from George Mason University. In 2020, she served as an assistant professor in Economics at Wichita State University before becoming an associate professor in 2023. By 2024, she was chair of the Economics department at Wichita State. Her research interests include behavioral economics and managerial decision-making. Her work has been published in the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, and Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics, among others.
