The Philly Pops is the orchestra that knows no musical bounds. Founded in 2023 by a group of passionate and incredibly versatile musicians, today’s Pops pays homage to the symphonic pops legacy of Peter Nero, iconic pianist and conductor of the original Philly Pops (1979-2013), even as it carries forth his passion for breaking boundaries across all styles of music. The Philly Pops embodies our city’s infamous gritty spirit and love for hard work as it showcases Philly talent and leaves an indelible mark on the Philly music scene.
The inaugural Pops in the Pavilion will be a highlight of the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø calendar. Featuring a spectacular lineup of student and professional musicians—including some very special guest performers— this is more than just a night to remember. Designed to expand access and opportunity for ²ÝÁñÉçÇø students, Pops in the Pavilion brings together students, alumni, family, and friends to celebrate the power of the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø community.
INDIVIDUAL TICKETS
Tickets will go on sale August 27 and will be available via the . If you have not already, you will need to create an account on the ticketing site in order to purchase.
A portion of the ticket price is a donation to student scholarship and therefore tax-deductible. ²ÝÁñÉçÇø will send tax receipts within six weeks after the event.
Yes, ²ÝÁñÉçÇø students who choose to attend are required to purchase full-price tickets. We are not able to add additional tickets to your seat location once the purchase is complete.
Tickets work best displayed directly in the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Athletics mobile app, and are not designed to be printed. Mobile tickets can be added to your phone’s Apple or Google wallet.
Your order confirmation email will be sent by tickets@villanova.edu with the subject: ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Ticket Confirmation. If you did not receive your ticket confirmation, please email pops@villanova.edu.
There are no refunds on tickets. ²ÝÁñÉçÇø does not endorse or condone the reselling of tickets. Please be very cautious if someone offers to sell you a ticket. It may be an unauthorized copy.
Yes. You may transfer your ticket via your ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Athletics ticket account. Please note each ticket has a unique barcode that allows only one entry per ticket to the event. The first version of an e-ticket to arrive at the event will gain entry after scanning and validation. Other copies of the ticket will be denied entry.
Yes, we have a limited number of wheelchair accessible and companion seats available. For more information or questions, please email pops@villanova.edu. ADA parking is available in all lots with a valid state-issued disability license plate or placard.
General parking is available in the I-2 (South Campus), I-1 (Ithan Ave. Garage), or S-4 (Law School Garage) lots. Once lots fill, parking attendants will direct you to the next available lot. Please refer to the campus map for parking lot locations. Please note, ²ÝÁñÉçÇø welcomes thousands of families to campus during Family Weekend. Please allow extra time for arrival and departure.
Individual ticket holders who purchased a Mezzanine level ticket or Loge seat can access reserved parking in the M-2 parking garage. One vehicle per total ticket transaction will be permitted. Your mobile parking pass will be made available in the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Athletics ticket app prior to the event.
Finneran Pavilion will be open to individual ticketholders starting at 5:30 p.m. You must have a ticket to enter. The show begins at 7 p.m. and ends at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Ticketholders can expect a gourmet picnic-style meal with a hearty sandwich and dessert at their seat when they arrive. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available by exchanging your meal at the stations located on the concourse. Bars serving complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks are located on the concourse and open at 5:30 p.m. and close promptly at 7:00 p.m. The bars will be reopen during intermission.
There is no dress code, as Pops in the Pavilion is a festive, casual event. However, many attendees may choose to dress in business or cocktail attire. Jackets and ties are not required.
BENEFACTOR TABLES
No, you do not need to purchase individual tickets for you and your table guests.
Tickets and parking passes for you and your table guests will be sent to you via FedEx the week before the event. If you have a special mailing request, please contact us at pops@villanova.edu.

Each Benefactor Table will receive (2) two reserved VIP parking passes for the A-2 parking lot, located immediately behind Finneran Pavilion. Parking passes will be sent to you via FedEx the week before the event. If you have a special mailing request, please contact us at pops@villanova.edu.
The cocktail reception will begin at 5:00 p.m. in Finneran Pavilion. Benefactor table purchasers and their guests can access Finneran Pavilion using either the front or rear entrances of the building.
The show begins at 7 p.m. and ends at approximately 9:30 p.m.

²ÝÁñÉçÇø Catering serves a gourmet bento box dinner at your table. Prior to the show, there will be plenty of tasty hors d’oeuvres at the cocktail reception. Please notify a catering staff member of any dietary restrictions.
Full bars are available during the cocktail reception and on either side of the Finneran Pavilion floor. Bars will close promptly at 7:00 p.m. and will reopen during intermission. Each table has complimentary bottles of red and white wine.
