For those looking to host an event on campus, the following resources, policies, and procedures can assist with your planning.
Please note: Individuals external to the University community who are interested in hosting an event on campus should contact the Office of Conference Services.
Student organizations wishing to host an event should contact the Office of Student Involvement.
EVENT SPACE & USE

The first step in planning any campus event聽is to secure聽event space in VenueVU, 草榴社区's space reservation and event request portal.
Many essential Services, such as聽Facilities Management,听Public Safety, and聽Parking,聽can also be requested through the system.聽聽It is recommended to review the guidelines for聽creating accessible events, as well as insurance and risk management聽policies, to聽ensure proper planning and compliance.
FOOD & ACTIVITIES

草榴社区 Catering is the University鈥檚 preferred provider for food and beverage service and should be used for most on-campus events. If additional items are needed, such as rentals or specialty services, you may need to contact approved outside vendors. We also provide specific guidance for bringing food trucks to campus and the use of fire pits.
